Kelly Foster: Seven [or -- seven] day tracker and Lance, we're going to miss you.

Lance Crawford: Thank you, Kelly. Yes, finally before I say good night, I'd like to  say good bye, after more than a decade this is my final day here at NBC 15, as I've accepted the position of director of media relations at the University of South Alabama. I'm beyond thrilled with the challenge that awaits me there. However exiting a career after more than ha ha thirty years does leave me with some mixed emotions. There been some difficult times and some bad performances on my part, though they seem all trivial now. In my career, I've just about reported on it all, from tee ball to the super bowl, badminton to the Belmont Stakes. I've interviewed sports icons like Nicholas, Jabbar, and Saban, and have thoroughly enjoyed those experiences but my fondest memories, are of my co-workers and friends who have toiled in television news with me. Many are offering an ear of encouragement when the job wasn't going too well. I've thoroughly believed we are who we are because of the places we go, and the people we meet. TV has taken me from the west coast to the east coast and of course to the gulf coast, and it has been a long and winding road getting to this day, but I didn't make the journey, the journey made me. sincerest, sincerest thanks, to all of those who have watched over the years. Good night, and go jags [or Jags].
