They moved to Mobile after purchasing WABB Radio in 1960, where they raised three daughters and were an active part of the community for over 50 years. Judy had an amazing sense of style and took great pride in always being well dressed. Her elegance commanded respect, and her astute sense of humor drew admiration. She was a smart business woman and wise investor who managed her household's finances. Judy and Bernie spent many years at their home on Ono Island before Bernie's death in October 2006. They were married one month shy of 50 years. Judy continued to run WABB AM/FM Radio until it was sold in February 2012. In 2014, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to be closer to two of her daughters and three of her grandchildren. She was an avid traveler with all her children to Idaho, Hawaii, NY, Paris, Cabo, and more. She was always up for an adventure. She loved collecting antique silver, cut glass stemware, and antique furniture. She had an impeccable eye. A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Vinky Chadha, Dr. Kevin Scher, the wonderful doctors and nurses at Cedars-Sinai, and Ofelia Haro, who took such great care of her. She is survived by her three daughters, Betsy Dittman, Stephanie Teichner, and Marsha Scimo; her sons-in-law, Mark Teichner, and Michael Scimo; and her grandchildren, Sarah Teichner, Andrew Teichner, Julien Fagel, and Michael Scimo, Jr., her brother, Alan L. Siff (Patsy) and her nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live in our hearts forever.
