Conversations in Broadcasting #48

A certain TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the fifteenth day of the month of October for the calendar year 2018 ("Gulf Coast Today") appeared to have had this conversation between two of its contributors (Kelly Foster (host) and Terra Reeves (host)):

Kelly Foster: Welcome back to GCT. We're about to find out the answer to our Movie Monday question.

Terra Reeves: Earlier in the show we asked which character on the "Wizard of Oz" was replaced because of an allergic reaction to their costume. We're checking Facebook now to see your answers. We had an abundance of answers, but our very own Ed says how Bubby was actually cast to play the Tin Man--

Kelly Foster: Really!

Terra Reeves: --but then, unfortunately, he had a allergic re-- an allergic reaction to the silver paint that they were painting--

Kelly Foster: Ooh...

Terra Reeves: --on his face.

Kelly Foster: Yes.

Terra Reeves: I don't know what they were using at the time, but that he had to turn down the role. Couldn't you imagine, you worked so hard...

Kelly Foster: N--n--no, and that film is such a classic it's going to be around until the end of the time, and you know if he had an allergic reaction how hard it is to get paint off. You and I talked about that before. It's hard.

Terra Reeves: It's crazy, yeah.

Kelly Foster: Poor guy.

Terra Reeves: We even had -- some Mark actually took a week off in promotions. His daughter is actually going to school in California to be an actress, so, he knows and, his daughter know first hand how hard you work

Kelly Foster: Oh, yes.

Terra Reeves: --to get a role like that.

Kelly Foster: Yes, it's once in a lifetime. Never going to come around again.

Terra Reeves: That's why we're giving him some fame--

Kelly Foster: Yes.

Terra Reeves: --with our Monday movie question.
