Conversations in Broadcasting #98

A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twentieth day of the month of August for the calendar year 2019 ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had involved these conversations involving some of its contributors (Lenise Ligon (presenter of news) and Jason Smith (reporter of weather)):

Lenise Ligon: And no surprises with the forecast unless you're going to tell me tomorrow it's going to be seventy-five and--and sunny.

Jason Smith: Well, uh, it may be about--

Lenise Ligon: Ha ha ha.

Jason Smith: -- seventy five degrees for about an hour between--

Lenise Ligon: Ha ha ha.

Jason Smith: -- five a-m and six a-m and humid,--

Lenise Ligon: Yeah.

Jason Smith: -- and then after that it gets hot again. 

Lenise Ligon: Thanks Jason.

Jason Smith: Yeah, I'm sorry --

Lenise Ligon: Heh ha ha.

Jason Smith: --it's still August and we're all having to contend with it.

A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fourth day of the month of September for the calendar year 2019 ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had this conversation between some of its contributors (Jason Smith (reporter of weather) and Lenise Ligon (presenter of news)):

Jason Smith: Summer hanging tough--

Lenise Ligon: Heh heh heh heh.

Jason Smith: -- this has been a hotter summer,-- 

Lenise Ligon: Yes. 

Jason Smith: -- and, uh, we got more to come. I mean it's September--

Lenise Ligon: Ugh! 

Jason Smith: --and normally we get our first front around September the twentieth.

Lenise Ligon: Mm-hm. 

Jason Smith: Let's hope it gets here, because this is crazy. 

Lenise Ligon: Hm, you've had enough of it. 

Jason Smith: I'm done with it. 

Lenise Ligon: Ha ha ha! All right.

Jason Smith: Ha ha ha. 

Lenise Ligon: Thanks, Jason.

A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-sixth day of the month of August for the calendar year 2019 ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had involved these conversations involving some of its contributors (Lenise Ligon (presenter of news) and Byron Day (presenter of news)):

Lenise Ligon: I need to-- ok, so, a new report, reveals which college majors, lead to the most jobs. 

Byron Day: All right, Karen Caifa looks at what, which-- what was your degree.

Lenise Ligon: What?

Byron Day: What was your degree?

Lenise Ligon: What did you think?

Byron Day: Oh well, ok. Mine was in English.

Lenise Ligon: Uh huh.

Byron Day: All right. Anyway,--

Lenise Ligon: Teh heh heh heh.

Byron Day: -- Karen Caifa looks at what is the highest and lowest valued in tonight's consumer watch.

[note #1: the program appeared to have had a certain video not involving the contributors involving disembodied voices being used to say phrases such as, "For Consumer Watch, I'm Karen Caifa" while appearing to have had some digital graphics involving texts of "CONSUMER WATCH" and "MOST AND LEAST VALUABLE COLLEGE MAJORS" by this point (note #2: the program appeared to have had the contributors again immediately afterwards)]
 
Byron Day: There you go. Tropical Storm Dorian is a long way out in the Atlantic, but we're keeping a close watch on it it.

Lenise Ligon: Our chief meteorologist has the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center for you next at ten. 

Byron Day: Also,--

[note #3: the program appeared to have had some digital graphics (some of which appeared to have had resembled text of "COMING UP") surrounding a certain other video (with the graphics resembling text of "COMING UP" appearing below them) not involving the contributors by this point while still appearing to have the voice it appeared to have had for the contributor named Byron Day before this point]

Byron Day: (voice only): -- a new law is taking effect in Alabama beginning this Sunday, September first. We're taking a look at the, gas tax that'll be happening, on that day. That's all new on FOX 10 News at ten.

[note #4: the program appeared to have had certain other video not involving the contributors with digital graphics involving elements resembling texts such as "LIVE" (for one of them) and "Navigator CREDIT UNION" (for one of the others) by this point (note #5: the video appeared to have had faded to black afterwards))]
