Conversations in Broadcasting #110

A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the ninth day of the month of December for the calendar year 2019 ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had involved these conversations involving some of its contributors (Jason Smith (reporter of weather) and Byron Day (presenter of news)):

Jason Smith: Here's our extended outlook and behind the front, some of that rain lingers; the front stalls just to our east, so what that does, it gives us highs in the upper fifties, lows in the forties, but still a chance of a scattered rain shower Thursday and Friday; just not totally getting rid of the rain. Not expecting super heavy rain, but we are going to get our chances there, and, uh, if you're trying to find some good days, to do some stuff outside.

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Byron Day while appearing to have had him appear to speak): Ha ha ha, ha ha.

Jason Smith: Wouldn't it have been great if that happened on the weekend.

Byron Day: Oh yeah.

Jason Smith: Well that's what we're going to see. Saturday, partly cloudy. Sunday, mostly sunny. Highs in the sixties, lows in the forties by the, very important weekend.

Byron Day: Yes, a very important weekend because some people are trying to get their Christmas shopping done, you know.

Jason Smith: Oh boy.

Byron Day: All right, thanks Jason.

[note #1: the part appeared to have had a video (surrounded with digital graphics) not involving the contributors appear by this point (note #2: some of the graphics (specifically some below the video itself) appeared to have had resembled text of "COMING UP")]

Disembodied voices (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Byron Day while appearing to have had him appear to speak): With the college football regular season over, time to look at the season finales. Our Bri MacNaught has a preview of bowl matchups for the Tide and Tigers. That's next, in Bri sports.

[note #1: the part appeared to have had began having a video not involving the contributors (with certain beings saying, "Studio 10!" together, one other being saying, "We love it" afterwards, and a digital graphic with text of  "ROCKWELL STUDENTS VISIT FOX 10" being shown afterwards) by this point]

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Chelsey Sayasane while appearing to have had her appear to speak): Some groups of Rockwell fifth graders got to tour the studio and the station. We hope they had, they had the best time visiting. As you can tell, the studio's probably one of the favorites.

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Michael White while appearing to have had him appear to speak): Yeah.

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Chelsey Sayasane while appearing to have had her appear to speak): Michael, you do a lot of studio tours, too. So it's really cool to get in front of the green screen and all that fun stuff.

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Michael White while appearing to have had him appear to speak): They had a blast with me and Jennifer

[note #2: the part appeared to have had the contributors appear again by this point]

Michael White: And [or -- and] uh we had two groups of  twenty-five kids from Rockwell. They were just awesome, and they got to watch an entire taping, of Eric Reynolds' show, Perspectives.

Disembodied voice (similar to the voices this part appeared to have had for the contributor named Michael White while appearing to have had him appear to speak): The weather, eh, not so much. Cloudy, gloomy, ten-to-fifteen-mile-an-hour winds. Temperatures in the upper forties and low fifties right now. Rain, a little scattered shower chances is going to come in later today with highs projected to be, in the upper fifties. As far as how things are going to be looking in the long range, you can see for your self. Bigger chances of rain for tomorrow; not so much for the weekend, with highs in the upper sixties; cold front comes in Monday of next week, and that could

[note #3: the part appeared to have had the contributors appear again by this point]

Michael White:  Put [or -- put] our temperatures close to freezing, during the middle of next week.

Chelsey Sayasane: Whoa!

Michael White: Yeah.

Chelsey Sayasane: Looking forward to that.

Joe Emer: As we mentioned, this is a special Studio 10. Our next half hour is going to be our Southern Living special.  They're owned by our parent company Meredith Corporation, so check that out, it's going to be awesome.

Chelsey Sayasane: Yeah, merry Christmas. Enjoy it.
