The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the
Tuesday of the thirtieth day of the month of October for the calendar
year 2018 ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had this
conversation between some of its contributors (Byron Day (news
presenter), Lenise Ligon (news presenter), and Jason Smith (weather
reporter)):
(note: the program appeared to have had a video involving involving digital graphics with texts of "SWAPPING UNWANTED CANDY" and "FOR REESE'S CUPS / NEW YORK CITY" at the beginning of the conversation)
Byron Day: Ok, if you don't like
Candy Corn, Almond Joy, or Tootsie Rolls, bring them to me here at
fifteen oh one Satchel Paige -- no -- no worries, Reese's has come up
with a cleaver way to help you exchange it for peanut butter cups.
Lenise
Ligon: This afternoon in New York, a Reese's candy converter is set on
Fifth Avenue so the machine will take the candy you don't want and
exchange it for those Reese's candy butter cups. Quite the trade.
Byron Day: I'm loving it.
Lenise Ligon: There you go. What's your favorite candy for Halloween, by the way? [note #2: the program appeared to have had the news presenters and the reporter by this point]. We know yours -- Jason? Ten seconds!
Jason Smith: The Twix!
Lenise Ligon: Oh my gosh--
