Commentary: An unnecessary remark in a local TV news program

I wish one of the news presenters for WKRG-TV's local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (Avery Cotton of "WKRG News 5 This Morning") had not said, "Good old George W." in reference to the last person to hold the position of president of the United States (George Walker Bush) while talking about his having been part of a jury in a segment of the program last Friday, August 7th. She and other news presenters and news reporters for WKRG-TV and other companies with news departments should not be allowed to present what may or may not their personal feelings about anything in between or within their news presentations or news reports.
