- WALA-TV had a report about their having a new system for reporting information about traffic conditions in their local broadcast area in their local news programming today (the system was called the "FOX 10 TrafficTracker").
- A news reporter and news presenter for WKRG-TV talked about his being honored by the South Alabama Veterans Council this past Sunday, November 8th, while part of WKRG-TV's local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. today (the name of the news presenter was Bill Riales; the name of the program was "WKRG News 5 This Morning").
- The news presenter for WPMI-TV's local morning and midday news programs (Kelly Jones of "Local 15 Today" and "Local 15 News at Noon") used parts of the midday news program's broadcast for today to promote plans of theirs to accept donations of food for the Salvation Army of the United States between today and this Friday, November 13th, and for their local morning news program to have special features about veterans of the military of the United States this Wednesday, November 11th, in honor of it having been designated Veterans Day for this calendar year.
