News for Friday, April 8th, 2016
- This past Thursday's edition of WPMI-TV's local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("Local 15 Today") on the seventh day of this April had a report about a member of the board of commissioners for
the Mobile County Public School System who usually hosted a local radio
program for WGOK-AM dedicated to public affairs named "Pass it On" and a
local TV program for WALA-TV also dedicated to public affairs named
"Rise and Shine" being set to host a public meeting about an idea he was said to have proposed about having part of the
system he represented as a member of the board be a
separate school system (his name was Robert Battles).
