- The cable TV channel for a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named "ASPiRE" in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile
became available to digital transport adapters connected to the system
by this past Wednesday (certain adapters connected to the system may
have had this message about the channel instead of its programming:
"(173 - ASPRE) channel is not authorized. To view this channel, please
call Comcast at 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) and choose technical
help. Status code 580".).
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had a promotional video for
their broadcast operation with an anonymous comment claiming their
broadcast operation ("15") "puts every [other] station to shame" during a break
in its local news programming this past Wednesday on the thirty-first day of this past August.
- WALA-TV had a report about a drawing attributed to a news reporter for their local news operation (Lee Peck)
in their local news programming this past Wednesday (specifically on their local news program for
the hour of 4:00 p.m. that day: "FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.").
