News for Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 (amended)
(note: some information (in the form of a "note") was added to this report after it was published, specifically the third paragraph below this sentence)
- The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the first day of this December ("NBC 15 News at 5 p.m.") appeared to have had a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to news (named Muriel Bailey) mentioning a certain "Melanie Pardon" without ever explaining him or her (note #1: the program appeared to have had the presenter doing in between these statements: "The country is in mourning after the passing of former president George HW [or H. W.] Bush. Melanie Pardon is live in College Station, Texas, and Melanie, that's where he'll be laid to rest" and "All right, thank you so much, Melanie, for, uh, being there and giving us that information" (note #2: the first statement appeared to had been part of the program immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel)).
- The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. this Sunday
("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had one of its
contributors (a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to
news named Asha Staples)
saying, "Well thank you for spending your Sunday morning here with us.
We are ending our newscast a little bit early...for educational
programming, but thank you for spending it here with us here on FOX 10
News. We'll have more news and weather for you tonight at nine." during
the last twenty seconds of its time for doing so this Sunday (note: the
channel often appeared to have had a local news program named "FOX 10
News at 7:00 a.m." during the second half of the hour of 7:00 a.m. on
Sunday on a weekly basis before the month of October for this calendar
year before appearing to have had such a program only occasionally in
this period of time on Sunday after the beginning of that month).
- The
local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast
channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Thursday ("FOX 10
News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a certain video involving certain phrases such as, "Gone to the bathroom on himself"
being said as part of a certain narrative (transcript of some of the narrative: "As Trent Yates stood in court today,
Mobile police detective Nick Crepeau that he was called to Springhill
Medical Center for a suspicious death. The detective testified, Trent
Yates called nine one one from the group home, and asked that Matthew
Cox be taken to the hospital. Crepeau testifies Trent Yates told him
that Cox had gotten out of bed and and Yates noticed Cox had gone to the
bathroom on himself, fell down, and passed out." (note #1: the program
appeared to have had some digital graphics with texts such as "GROUP
HOME MURDER" and "MPD: YATES PHYSICALLY/VERBALLY ABUSED PATIENT" while
appearing to have had this video (note: #2: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have have had what might or might not had been a recording of the part of the program involving this video))).
