News for Friday, December 7th, 2018

- The local news program that appeared to have had appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the
Thursday of the sixth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its contributors (a certain presenter for
certain parts of it related to news named Byron Day) saying, "Our Bob
Grip has been covering this story for the last fifteen years. He's got
the latest chapter. Bob" and one of its other contributors (a certain reporter named
Bob Grip) saying, "That's true" immediately afterwards for a certain
part of it related to news (note: a certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have had what might or might not had been a recording of this part of the program).
- The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the second half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 11:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the sixth day of this December appeared to have had some
conversations between some of its contributors involving "heartbreaker" (note: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site YouTube
appeared to have had what might or might not had been a recording of
some of those conversations (update for Saturday, December
8th, 2018: a transcript of the parts of the program involving those
conversations, including one that did not appear to have had been part
of the recording mentioned earlier in this paragraph, was added to a
certain part of this very site "Conversations in
Broadcasting" this Saturday)).
- The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00
p.m. on the
Wednesday of the fifth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 10:00
p.m.") appeared to have one of its contributors (a certain presenter for
certain parts of it related to news named Byron Day) saying, "Are you
kidding me?" immediately after appearing to have had a certain disembodied voice being used
to say, "Saturday we're watching out for some rain showers.
Possibly a few thunderstorms in our area. We can easily get two to four
inches of rain" before appearing to had same contributor saying, "We got to work on that, buddy" immediately after
appearing to have had one of its other contributors (a certain reporter
for certain parts of it related to weather named Jason Smith) saying,
"Yeah, looks like a wet weekend" (note: the "disembodied voice" mentioned earlier in this paragraph was similar to that of the voice the program appeared to have had for the contributor named Jason Smith).
- The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the
Wednesday of the fifth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its contributors (a reporter for certain
parts of it related to weather named Jason Smith) saying, "Right now at the Hangout, it's cold down at the beach. I mean it'll be cold everywhere tonight. Nobody can get away from it tonight. I mean we're talking about freezing temperatures. Let's look at that temperature track overnight; our twenty-four hour planner, dropping into the thirties and we could be below freezing or near freezing for a number of hours tonight. That'll affect all of us with our energy bill tonight; having to crank the heat. Temperatures rebound a little tomorrow, we get back into the fifties, and at least tomorrow night will not be as cold , but still chilly. Tonight's the cold one. Right now we're all ready really close to freezing and I wouldn't be surprised in about fifteen minutes we'll allow these temperatures to update -- at ten o'clock that we'll see some freezing readings out there" for a certain part of it related to weather.
