not going to air responses to the original question we asked earlier
tonight. Instead we're asking a new question, and it has to do with the
display about the Comic Cowboys today. Now earlier in this newscast we
shared that story with you about this sign, on a Comic Cowboys float
today, apparently making light of a very serious incident. A Davidson
High School freshman football player deliberately injured,
according to police, during a hazing ritual last spring by some of his
former teammates. The incident has resulted in criminal charges, and a
multi million dollar lawsuit. Well the victim's mother, posted the
group's sign, on her Facebook page. She's angry, that the injuries to
her son, were, quote, so viciously mocked for laughs, unquote, by the
Comic Cowboys. She believes the Comic Cowboys have crossed the line, by
making fun of her son, a minor, and the incident, with today's display.
She's demanding an apology from the group, the mayor, and the city
council. So here's the new FOX 10 News Sound Off question: Is it time
for the Comic Cowboys to be banned from Mardi Gras activities? If you
agree, tell us why, if you don't, tell us why. The FOX 10 News Sound Off
hotline is open right now, at two five one, four three four, one
zero one two. Two five one, four three four, one zero one two. We'll
have your comments and opinions, Thursday, on 'FOX 10 News' at nine. And
remember, when you call, please leave your first name only, as well as
the FOX 10 viewing area from which you're calling".
