- WALA-TV's initially had a special report about the person take precedence over broadcasting this Tuesday's edition of the syndicated game show "Wheel of Fortune" between 6:30 p. and 7:00 p.m. before broadcasting continuous programming about the person from 7:04 p.m. until 7:57 p.m. instead of network programming from the FOX Broadcasting Company, including two recent episodes of the animated TV programs "The Simpsons" and "Bob's Burgers",
- WPMI-TV's special news programming about the person took precedence over broadcasting the first half of a new edition of "The Voice", the singing competition program the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) had provided between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., before using their companion station WJTC-TV to broadcast more special news programming about the person instead of an episode of the comedic TV program "The Jeffersons".
