• WKRG-TV's special local programming about some of the Carnival parades that occurred in their local broadcast area today (the last day of the Carnival season for the current calendar year) included a live report about a fire causing damage to an apartment complex in Mobile.

• WJTC-TV's special local programming about the Carnival parade that occurred between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in Mobile's downtown area today did not end between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in accordance with Zap2it, TV Guide, TitanTV's guides to their TV programming.

• WJTC-TV's special local programming about the last Carnival parade to occur in Mobile's downtown area today began earlier than originally indicated by the aforementioned guides to their TV programming (the programming began between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. rather than between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. before ending shortly after 6:30 p.m.). 

• WJTC-TV had an episode of the animated TV program titled "The Simpsons" proceed their special programming about the last Carnival parade in Mobile's downtown area since the special programming began during their regular time period for broadcasting "The Simpsons" from Monday through Friday (6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).
