News for Friday, August 31st, 2018
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the thirtieth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m." during the hour mentioned first; "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." during the hour mentioned second) appeared to have had a certain member of the news operation for WALA-TV named Lenise Ligon that a certain Twitter page related to her appeared to had described as a "Vegetarian" in recent times presenting reports involving phrases such as "raw chicken" (note: a certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to had a video of the news presenter presenting such reports).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday
of the twenty-ninth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day),
saying, "All right, you're not going to believe this one, ok: two
suspected burglars arrested and charged and one of them may have made
things a little easier for police. Investigators say these two stole an
air compressor, home, uh, tools and jewelry from a home in Theodore. Well when Mobile police missed them by four minutes after a home alarm
went off, but not before they were caught before the act on video. Well
the home owner shared the pictures with FOX 10 and it turns out one of
the suspects who wore the bandana over his face during the burglary used
the same bandana for his Facebook profile picture (note: the local news
program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. that fsu ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a presentation similar to this one (note #2: a certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have had what might or might not had been a recording of the presentation for the program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m that day)).
- The local news program that appeared on the channel during the first
half
of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the thirtieth day of this
August ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had its news presenter (Devon Walsh)
saying, "Well the NFL pre-season wraps up tonight and we will have full
coverage right here on both WKRG News 5 and the Gulf Coast CW. At six
thirty the New Orleans Saints take on the Los Angeles Rams. No word if
we are expected to see the newest Saint Teddy Bridgewater. The Tampa Bay
Buccaneers kick off at six thirty against in-state rival the
Jacksonville Jaguars, but due to these games we will not have newscasts
on WKRG News 5 or nine o'clock on the CW Gulf Coast" along with some
digital graphics involving texts of "NFL PRESEASON GAMES TONIGHT", "6:30
PM NEW ORLEANS VS. LA RAMS ON" with a certain graphic related to
WKRG-TV, and "6:30 PM TAMPA BAY VS. JACKSONVILLE ON" with a certain
graphic related to WFNA-TV (note #1: the main programming feed for WFNA-TV was usually referenced as "The Gulf Coast CW" in various advertisements to it in recent times (note #2: WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV were related to each other due to their
having been part of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group in
recent times)).
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV appeared to have had programming
unrelated to their main provider of network programming (the National
Broadcasting Company (NBC)) during some
hours often used for listing programs related to the provider in various
guides to its programming (such as those for certain World Wide Web sites named TitanTV and Zap2it) on a daily basis in recent times on the
Thursday of the thirtieth day of this August (note #1: the channel
appeared to have had a program regarding a certain event regarding a
certain sport (football) during the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and
the
first forty minutes of the hour of 9:00 p.m. for that day before
appearing to have had a separate program regarding the sport itself
(with graphics resembling text of "COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW SHOW" a
certain a
member of the news operation for WPMI-TV named
Lance Crawford)
during the last twenty minutes of that hour (note #2: the channel
appeared to had the program regarding the event mentioned earlier in
this paragraph during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for this
day in addition to the others mentioned earlier in this paragraph (note
#3: the channel usually appeared to have had a certain program unrelated to
WPMI-TV or the provider named "Entertainment Tonight" during the second
half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on calendar days other than Saturday and Sunday in recent
times))).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV between the middle of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the beginning of
the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Thursday of the thirtieth of this August ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had a certain video involving some digital graphics with text of "LABOR DAY
BOAT SAFETY" and a certain
being saying phrases such as, "I'm Gary Finch for WKRG News 5" without
any mention as to whether the being was a member of WKRG-TV or not
(note #1: a certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV
appeared to have had what might or might not had been a recording of
the part of the program involving the video (note #2: the local news
program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour
of 12:00 p.m. later that Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to
have a video
similar to the one mentioned earlier in this paragraph with the
exception of it appearing to have had some digital graphics with texts
of "GARY FINCH OUTDOORS
LABOR DAY PREVIEW" and "ON NEWS 5 SUNDAY AT 5:00 AM AND CW 11:00 AM" and
a static image text of "GARY FINCH
OUTDOORS" and audio of its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "And you
can catch
Gary Finch Outdoors on WKRG News 5 bright and early
Sunday mornings at five a.m. and again at eleven a.m. on the Gulf Coast
CW" immediately afterwards)).
