- A certain Facebook page and a certain Twitter page related to WKRG-TV each appeared to had received a message involving text such as "CELEBRATING 63 YEARS ON THE AIR: WKRG-TV first signed on the air September 5, 1955" from their respective administrations this Wednesday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("FOX 10 News at
5:00 p.m.") appeared to had a certain video involving a certain report
involving a certain name often used for some of the local news
programming that appeared to be been part of the programming of the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV in recent times ("News 5").
- A certain programming feed connected to WHEP-AM that usually had audio
of a certain kind of song (often referenced as "The Star-Spangled Banner") interrupting a certain program (named "America's 1st News with Matt Ray") during the last three minutes of the hour of
5:00 a.m. on calendar days other than Saturday and Sunday earlier this
calendar year did not have any interruptions during that period of time this Wednesday.
- The main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV appeared to have had a
certain program related to a certain provider of network programming for
WPMI-TV (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) during the second
half of the hour of the 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the second day of
this September (note #1: a certain guide to the channel for WJTC-TV
for a certain World Wide Web site
named Zap2it appeared to have had listing of "The 2018 NBC Primetime
Preview Show" for the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for that
Sunday. (note #2: WJTC-TV and WPMI-TV
were related to each other due to their having been part of a certain
holding company named the Sinclair Broadcast Group
in recent times)).
- A certain TV program for WKRG-TV named "WKRG Sports Overtime" appeared
to have had a certain contributor of some of its content (Robby Baker (its host)) saying, "Well hello and welcome
in to WKRG Sports Overtime. This show...is kind of like my baby -- as
the executive producer and host, I have been there from the beginning -- the planning stages -- all the way to where we are today. It is football
season and kind of like a baby growing up and going to college it is
time for the show to evolve and mature, if you will. Now don't worry,
there are still some fun, homemade graphics in store for you later in
the show, but for now, we are retiring the opening drive. I know, I know, but it's because we have a new sponsor for football season" and a
certain sequence of animation involving a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "Enjoy all your college
football games with a delicious refreshing Pepsi. Tonight's college
football wrap-up of the week...is brought to you by Pepsi, the choice of
every generation" immediately afterwards.
