Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar had his backpack stolen Saturday at the Crimson Tide's team hotel in downtown Atlanta. He left his backpack in a room in a Marriott Marquee Saturday afternoon that he thought was secure. Turns out it wasn't; a thief took it, and listen to what was in it: cash, cell phones, a passport, and Alabama's game day game plan. Atlanta Police are now investigating and they are looking for this guy who was wearing Coach Dunbar's backpack. Some of the contents were later discovered in a hotel bathroom; so far no luck finding the thief. Alabama had a lousy first half against Georgia, but turned it around in the second half and stunned the dogs to win in overtime and score the school's seventeenth national championship. Now Coach Dunbar has been on Nick Saban's staff for two years. He's coached in the NFL for eleven seasons. Atlanta police might want to put Coach Dunbar on the case; he once served as a police officer in his home state of Louisiana in the mid nineties".
(*WKRG-TV and the other stations were members of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group as part of the aforementioned ownership)
