News for Friday, January 12th, 2018 (amended)

(note: the fourth paragraph below this sentence was amended (the letter "a" was added between the words "had" and "live" and an asterisk and a parenthesis were added to near the end of it with) and a sentence with an asterisk was added below that paragraph) 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the tenth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "A plus for one you tonight" before presenting a certain report for a part of it dedicated to news related to digital technology ("Daily Dot Com").  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the eleventh day of this January ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying this one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) "All right, Alabama's national championship parade set for Saturday at 2:00 in Tuscaloosa. It will start in front of Denny Chimes and it will work its way in front of your house in front of Mobile. No, actually, it's front of the walk of champions. 
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the eleventh day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 10") appeared to have had one of theirs news presenters (Lenise Ligon) introducing videos of certain reports without mentioning their narrators or whether they were for their own news operation or not (the first program appeared to have had her saying, "Here's more from that area" before one of the videos whereas the second program appeared to have had her saying, "Here's more from Atlanta" before the other video).  
  • A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a live video of one of the news presenters for one of the local news programs at WKRG-TV (Bill Riales of "WKRG News 5 This Morning") saying this regarding a national news program from the main provider of network programming for WKRG-TV ("CBS This Morning" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) while part of the production of the local one this Friday: "When we're coming back on Monday, we'll have a whole different look toward the end of the show because we'll be bumping right up against 'CBS This Morning' " (the video also appeared to have had the other news presenter for the aforementioned news program for WKRG-TV (Jessica Taloney) saying this regarding the aforementioned statement immediately after it was said: "What that means for you is you're going to get--you're going to get more traffic, weather, and news in the last ten minutes of the show without a commercial break; and that's not ever been done before in south Alabama" (the news presenter named Bill Riales appeared to had made this statement immediately after the aforementioned statement the one named Jessica Taloney appeared to had said: "We would have unveiled that today had we known about it")).*
