- Both WKRG-TV and WPMI-TV had video recordings of holiday greetings from members of the military of the United States who used to reside in their local broadcast areas inserted into their local news programming this Thursday, November 27th (Thanksgiving Day).
- As of this writing, the Sunday programming guide on the official World Wide Web site for WNTM-AM (710) has the incorrect title for the program they would usually have between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on that day (it usually had its correct title over the past year since its addition to their regular programming plans back in September 2013). It should be "Leo Laporte the Tech Guy", not "Handel on the Law".
- This past Thursday's edition of WPMI-TV's local 5:00 p.m. news program ("Local 15 News at Five") had a report about Azalea Trail Maids participating in the McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago, Illinois that day and about WGN-TV (in Chicago) having the parade broadcast outside of Chicago that day (through both a live video stream and the the national cable TV and satellite TV programming service WGN America).
