• Earlier this March, a new digital sub-channel (radio frequency channel 25-3/virtual channel 55-3) was added to the broadcast operation for WFNA-TV for broadcasting programming from a national TV programming service named the Justice Network.

• One of the news presenters and news reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Ashley Knight) said they had a "terror alert" as part of a report about explosion in the country of Pakistan on their local 10:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 10") this past Sunday on the twenty-seventh day of this March. 

• The programming feed for the aforementioned digital sub-channel for WFNA-TV was added to the cable TV system for Comcast Cablevision of Mobile between this past Sunday and today (the cable TV channel used to provide the feed through the system used to have a message about the programming feed that used to be on the channel until last November).
