- The official World Wide Web site for WALA-TV recently had an article concerning a satellite TV company named Dish Network and a contract they had to provide the main programming feed for WALA-TV through their satellite TV system in recent times (the contract was set to expire this Saturday on the sixteenth day of this July).
- One of the local news programs for WALA-TV ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
had a news report (about an attack in the nation of France) with a member
of the Cable News Network (Mary Moloney) signing off with the brand name for the local
news operation at WALA-TV this past Thursday on the fourteenth day of
this July (this is what the member said: "Mary Moloney, FOX 10 News").
- According to WKRG-TV, one of the news reporters for their local news operation (Alison Spann) was set to have an "exclusive, in-depth" interview with the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (John Brennan) at their headquarters in Virginia (specifically the city of Langley located there) this Saturday and that they would have such an interview in their programming by the end of this calendar week afterwards.
