News for Wednesday, July 6th, 2016
- WKRG-TV had three news reports involving WAVH-FM in the local news programming this past Tuesday (one involved listeners of a radio program of theirs named "Midday Mobile" reacting to news about a candidate for the presidency of the United States (Hillary Clinton); one involved a guest of another local radio program of theirs ("Armed Alabama") also reacting to news about the candidate; one involved their having a sale of T-shirts to help fund the department of police for the Mobile and the office of the sheriff of the county where the city was located (Mobile County)).
- One of the news presenters for the local news program WKRG-TV usually had on their main broadcast channel between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times (Bill Riales on "WKRG News 5 This Morning") said the program was being simulcast on the main broadcast channel for their companion station (WFNA-TV) while conversing with the other news presenter for the program (Jessica Taloney) and its weather reporter (John Nodar) on the program this Wednesday in spite of the channel being set to have a different program (a syndicated news program named "TMZ Live") at the time in accordance with its regular programming plan for Monday through Friday.
