- A recording of some radio programming for a radio station formerly named WKRG-FM dated for the year 1985 was uploaded onto a World Wide Web site named YouTube by the Monday of the first day of this March (as of this writing, the current name of the station is WMXC-FM).
- The official World Wide Web site and Facebook page for WPMI-TV had video of one of the news presenters for their local news operation (Greg Peterson) talking about a recent contestant for a national TV program from their main provider of network programming ("The Voice" from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) he said was "native" to the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (Johnny Hayes).
- Between last Thursday on the twenty-third of last February and last Sunday on the twenty-sixth day of that February, the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV were set to have a special program from another TV station related to them* ("Countdown to Tampa" from WFLA-TV in the city of Tampa in the state of Florida) about plans to hold an automobile race (under the name "The Daytona 500") in the city of Daytona Beach in the state of Florida that Sunday (they were set to have when they were usually set to have certain programs at least once a week in recent times (the channel for WFNA-TV was set to have it last Thursday during the second half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. (instead of an episode of a syndicated program named "The Andy Griffith Show") whereas the one for WKRG-TV was set to have it last Saturday on the twenty-fifth day of this past February during the second half of the hour of 6:30 p.m. (instead of an edition of a syndicated program named "Today's Homeowner").
