News for Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 (amended)

- WALA-TV had a news report (dated for the Friday of the tenth day of this March) about a radio announcer for WMXC-FM (named Mary Booth) rappelling from the roof of a hotel in the city of Mobile last Friday.
- The first segment of the local news program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00
p.m. this Tuesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") did not begin in accordance to how its broadcasts usually began in recent times (its broadcasts usually began with a
"preview" of some of the reports planned for its installments; as for how its installment for this Tuesday began, it began with an animated sequence with the words "breaking news" before having video of its news presenter present news she said was related to news they had
"broke exclusively" this past Monday on the thirteenth day of this March (you may learn more about this news through this hyperlink)).
- The live video stream for WKRG-TV had no audio of certain contributors of their local news operation for some of the local news programming it had with their main broadcast channel since this past Monday (this included audio for news presenters, weather reporters, a traffic reporter, and guests of their broadcast facility (it occasionally had audio of at least one of those news presenters; specifically the one for the local news segments that appeared on their main broadcast between some of its breaks from having a national news program from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. this Tuesday (the name of this specific news presenter was Bill Riales; as for the name of the national news program, it was "CBS This Morning")).
