A recording of a local news program for WKRG-TV dated for the year 1999 was uploaded onto the World Wide Web site for an Internet video service named YouTube.

One of the standard-definition cable TV channels in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile usually had the programming feed for the main broadcast channel of WALA-TV in an improper format since the Sunday of the twelfth day of this March until the Friday of the seventeenth day of this March.
