News for Saturday, November 18th, 2017

• The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the seventeenth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had one of its news reporters (Alexa Knowles) saying a certain event was "right on cue" for her that day.

• Some of the local news programming for WALA-TV earlier this calendar week occasionally had certain members of its news operation promoting a plan to have a series of shows in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama involving lights from the Friday of the tenth day of this November to the Monday of the first day of January for the next calendar year (they usually had them promoting this plan as the "Christmas Nights of Lights").*  

• The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the sixteenth day of this November had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) stating an opinion concerning pregnancy while introducing a video of a news report related to pregnancy that had been advertised through their programming for the channel earlier this calendar week (it usually had advertisements for it (like this one) on some of the other local news programs it had earlier this calendar week and between parts of such programs).

(*update for Sunday, November 19th, 2017: the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a video of a advertisement for the plan with a logo for their broadcast operation and the words "sponsored by" above it in some of its programming earlier this Sunday)
