- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eighth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) referring to a person only by one name ("Obama") while presenting a report pertaining to the person (she had referred to him only as a "former president" before then).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have video of a radio host for one of the radio station in their local broadcast area for one of its news reports (he was identified as Sean Sullivan of "FM Talk 106.5" (nickname for WAVH-FM) by some captions for an Internet version of it whereas the report itself had no mention of "FM Talk 106.5" or its proper name (WAVH-FM)).*
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channels for WALA-TV and WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eighth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m." and "WKRG News 5 at 5") each appeared to have had live video of one of its news reporters (Lee Peck on the one for WALA-TV; Allen Carter on the one for WKRG-TV) in a remote location referring to certain entities around him as having come from "The First 48" without explaining what he had meant by "The First 48" for news report he was doing.**
