Conversations in Broadcasting #1

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV sometime between the beginning of the hour of 10:00 p.m. and the end of the hour of 11:00 p.m. on the Friday of the sixteenth day of this March* appeared to have had this conversation between its news presenter (Peter Albrecht) and one of its reporters (Randy Patrick Setterstrom):

Peter Albrecht: We've got some breaking news -- of course we're on late tonight due to the NC-double-A basketball tournament, Randy, but history made tonight and just the really hard to believe who had ever heard of the University of Maryland Baltimore County before.

Randy Patrick Setterstrom: Well they are the retrievers (Peter Albrecht: Yeah.) and their coach said, 'Go out there (Peter Albrecht: I get it.) and retrieve a major upset.'

Randy Patrick Setterstrom: (whistles) Come back -- and they all came back with big balls of slobber and a major upset as Virginia falls tonight -- that's the headline tonight, but let's talk about the big two from the state of Alabama.

(*the channel had special programming from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) when it was usually set to have a news program of their own between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on a daily basis in recent times ("WKRG News 5 at 10" for the the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m.))
