Lenise Ligon: Good.

Jason Smith: --and Bob.

Jason Smith: Well, it looks like---

Lenise Ligon:  Heh, heh, heh

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the tenth day of the month of July for the calendar year 2018 ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had these conversations between its news presenters (Byron Day and Lenise Ligon) and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith)

Byron Day: Hi stranger.

Jason Smith: Hey man.

Byron Day: Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.

Byron Day: We're glad to have this guy  He had his official welcome at nine o'clock, but--

Lenise Ligon: Uh-huh

Byron Day: -- but it is so good to have you back, Jason Smith.

Jason Smith: Yeah, it's so good to be back here, and summertime heat and humidity and

Lenise Ligon: Heh, heh, heh.

Jason Smith: -- tracking storms. Big surprises.

Byron Day: Yeah

Jason Smith: Yeah, we've got a pretty quiet night out there right now, though,--

Lenise Ligon: Mm-hmm.

Jason Smith: -- Lenise and Byron. Here's what we're seeing off out towards Dauphin Island; thunderstorms pushing off shore; looking good, and around the area today we picked up a few showers in some areas; Baldwin County getting some rain; about an inch there between Robertsdale and Loxley, and down around the island picking up some, too, but most of Mobile County fairly dry right now; the western side of the area, our Mississippi counties, not getting much rain today, and tomorrow it may look a little different because we're not expecting much rain over the east side of the area. Looks like there will be more showers as you head toward the west. We'll look at Chris, a category two hurricane; we'll track that, and also see about your forecast through the weekend; a look at those rain chances, and talk about heat, too. That's coming up. Byron.

Byron Day: All right, Jason, thanks. Looks good, didn't he?

Lenise Ligon: Of course.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Byron Day: Jason's back -- sorry (laughs). We were just--

Lenise Ligon: We were just talking. We haven't seen you in studio in a long time. Of course, we've been, uh, probably been texting him way too much.

Byron Day: Oh, talking and texting to him, finding out what he's been doing and we're just glad to have him back. I walked into the studio tonight at about eight thirty and he was standing there and I was like, "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Jason Smith: Yeah, I'm back and I'm tracking the weather just like always; just like for the last nineteen years.
