Conversations in Broadcasting #31

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eighth day of the month of August for the calendar year 2018 ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had this conversation between its news presenters (Byron Day and Lenise Ligon) and one of its reporters (a news reporter named Steve Alexander Ozenovich):

Lenise Ligon: All right, well still have breaking tonight, we got some new information about a mysterious death in Baldwin County: a man who disappeared over the weekend found dead in a ditch.

Byron Day: This was the scene in Summerdale just a few hours ago. The man's body found off of County Road seventy-one, not too far from County Road forty-eight.

Lenise Ligon: And we just got some new details from investigators about this case as well.

Byron Day: Uh, I'm Byron Day and Steve Alexander is live outside the Summerdale Police Department. Steve, You just found out police do not expect any kind of foul play.

Steve Alexander Ozenovich: That's right, uh, Lenise and Byron. As a matter of fact, they have intentatively identified the fifty-seven-year-old-man that they have found dying of natural causes, but they say they won't know for sure until an autopsy is done. They believe it's the same man they've been looking for since Monday. He was last seen Saturday -- now police have not released his name. They say a passer by found his about four o'clock in a deep ditch. Police also say they found a bicycle in that ditch, too. They say there's no damage to it, they didn't find any skid marks on the road, and they believe that rules out any kind of hit and run.

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the thirtieth day of the month of July for the calendar year 2018 ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had this conversation between one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht) and one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom):

Peter Albrecht: All right, Randy Patrick's here now. Now it's a big week for NFL football, for the hall of fame, for Mobile, for Robert Brazile.

Randy Patrick Setterstrom: Yeah, Doctor Doom. You know Howard Cozell, the legendary sportscaster, named Robert Brazile, or nicknamed Doctor Doom. Had he listened to Alan, he could have named him like Doctor Boom, Doctor Boom-Boom.

Peter Albrecht: Doctor Boom-Boom.

Randy Patrick Setterstrom: Yeah, Doctor Boom-Boom in your room room.

Peter Albrecht: The hall of fame superstar.

Randy Patrick Setterstrom: Ha, ha, ha -- well anyway, we have a great story from Robert Brazile talking about why he did not make it to the SEC and played for Alabama or Auburn and ended up at Jackson State. It's a great hall of fame story. Stay tuned.

(the program appeared to have had a break from appearing on the channel by this point)
