Conversations in Broadcasting #4

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fifteenth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had this conversation between its news presenter (Bob Grip) and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith:

Bob Grip: I'm trying to be optimistic seeing that the chance of rain go down ten percent from Friday to Saturday.

Jason Smith: A little improvement there.

Bob Grip: I'm hoping anyway.

The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twentieth day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had this conversation between its news presenter (Devon Walsh) and weather reporter (John Nodar)

Devon Walsh: Well it's spring and cool.

John Nodar: You bet, yesterday we were in the eighties, today the sixties, tonight forties.

Devon Walsh: Oh my gosh, that is chilly -- so bundle up everybody! We'll talk more about the spring forecast tonight on "News 5" at five.
