The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the
nineteenth day of the month of September for the calendar year 2018 ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared
to have had this conversation between some of its contributors (Bob Grip (news presenter), Lenise Ligon (news presenter), and Byron Day (reporter)):
Bob Grip: Most times you ask friend for a lift and they're glad to help out.
Lenise Ligon: And you don't expect them to pay anything.
Bob
Grip: But in tonight's FOX 10 Fugitive File, Byron Day has a story of a
presumed free ride that ended in a stabbing and a guy on the run, and
he joins us now in the studio with that story. Byron
Byron
Day: Lenise and Bob, it sounds like one of those bad slasher movies,
but this plot got pretty real. Now this is Blair Farmer. According to
MPD investigators, a friend asked for a lift, from Farmer, so the friend
could pick up some money owed to him. Well when the victim got the
cash, Farmer refused to take him back home, and demanded payment for the
ride instead. Police say the two got into a fight and Farmer pulled a
knife, stabbing and slashing the victim in the legs. The victim managed
to jump out of the parked car and bleeding heavily, found help in a
near-by restaurant. Farmer sped a way. Police say they see this type of
crime a lot, just not to this extreme.
(note: the program appeared to have had a certain video involving a certain other being (unidentified by the program itself) saying, "Most of the times, though, it's not, to the
point of, somebody pulling a knife. It usually ends in a fist fight,
especially when they know each other" before appearing to have had a certain other video related to the conversation involving digital graphics and texts of "FUGITIVE FILES" and "BLAIR FARMER")
Byron Day: Ok,
here are the vitals on Blair Farmer, our fugitive. He's forty years old,
five feet, eight inches tall, weighs two hundred and sixteen pounds.
He's wanted for first degree assault. He's also considered armed and
dangerous. So, if you've seen Farmer or know where he is, contact Mobile
police. Here is the number: two, five, one, two, zero, eight, seven,
two, one, one, and remember, you don't have to leave your name.

for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the
twenty-seventh day of the month of September for the calendar year 2018
("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had this conversation between its news presenters
(Byron Day and Lenise Ligon) and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith):
Lenise Ligon: It was
media day at LeFlore High School. I was invited to speak to students in
Mister Powe's TV production class. We talked about the importance of
being an effective communicator. They had a lot of questions about
shooting video, how to tell an important, and keeping bias out of your
reporting, and keeping bias out of reporting.
(disembodied voice being used to say, "Ooh")
Lenise
Ligon: We had a great conversation. And also members from Members
Rescue Fourteen were at the school. They were in a different room
teaching students how to retrieve victims during a fire.
Byron Day: Ooh, lots of good information today.
Lenise Ligon: Hmm-hmm. It was a great visit.
Byron Day: And you can tell me the students were just really sharp.
Lenise Ligon: They--they were. Uhh, none of them would do a Friday dance with me.
Byron Day and Jason Smith: Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh.
Lenise Ligon: We'll talk about that later. Ha ha ha ha.
(note:
the program appeared to have had a certain video involving digital graphics
with texts of "LEARNING ABOUT THE NEWS BIZ!" and "LEFLORE HIGH SCHOOL'S
MEDIA DAY" for some of the phrases attributed to the news presenter
named Lenise Ligon before appearing to have had the ones attributed to the news presenter
named Byron Day)
