News for Friday, February 12th, 2016
- A video attributed to WEAR-TV appeared in a local news program for WPMI-TV's companion station ("Local 15 News at 6:30 [p.m.]" for WJTC-TV) today (all three of these stations were owned by the same company, the Sinclair Broadcast Group).
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV recently had an animated
promotional video for a business based in Mobile (All in One Virtual Assistance) in which the mouths of
its characters were not always in sync with their voices (according to
the business, they had the advertisement created through a World Wide
Web site named Fiveer).
- The broadcast frequency for the Alabama Public Radio station in
southwest Alabama (WHIL-FM) had a station identification segment for the one in westcentral Alabama (WUAL-FM) instead
of its own station identification segment in its programming on a
regular basis recently, specifically between the start of this month and
the beginning of this week.
