• WALA-TV began having promotional videos for a candidate for the presidency of the United States named Marco Rubio in their programming on a regular basis by this past Wednesday (their programming had promotional videos for another candidate on a regular basis by then: Hillary Clinton). 

• One of the producers for the official World Wide Web site for WPMI-TV (her name was Taren Reed) had conducted interviews (such as this one) for their local midday news program ("Local 15 News at Noon") while the person who usually conducted interviews for it (in addition to presenting news reports for it) was absent on this day (her name was Kelly Jones).
