- WKRG-TV had a report with a member of their news department (Peter Albrecht)
in the city of San Francisco in the state of California talking about plans for a
championship football game expected to occur in another city in California named
Santa Clara this Sunday (the seventh day of this February) in
their local news programming today, specifically their local 6:00 p.m.
and 10:00 p.m. news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at
10").
- According to the official World Wide Web site for the Federal
Communications Commission (the FCC), the owners of WABF-AM and the
owners of WERM-AM (the radio station formerly known as WABB-AM) had a deal toward which the owners for WERM-AM would become the new owners of
WABF-AM (an "asset purchase agreement") and a deal toward which they, the owners of WERM-AM, would provide programming for WABF-AM (a "time brokerage" deal) before becoming theit new owners (the site has more details about the deals, including documents concerning the assets of WABF-AM (they were listed as "APA" documents), how the owners of WERM-AM would provide programming for WABF-AM (they were listed as "TBA" documents), and documents concerning how money would be handled in the deal toward taking ownership of WABF-AM) documents (they were listed as "escrow agreement" documents).
