- A Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV had what appeared to had been live video of the news presenter mentioned in the previous paragraph saying a candidate
for the Senate of the United States from Alabama named Mo Brooks was
the studio for their local news programs for an interview with a
national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named the FOX News Channel and that he had talked to him about the "race" for the
position of the Senate for which he was campaigning in recent times this past Friday on the
eleventh day of this August.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Saturday ("WKRG News 5 This
Morning: Saturday") had a member of their local news operation who
usually only did news presentations for some of the local news
programming they had for Monday through Friday in recent times (Devon Walsh)
be its news presenter for this Saturday and videos of what appeared to
been live news reports from remote locations involving its regular news
presenter (Chad Petri).
- A World Wide Web site named LinkedIn had a profile
of a person named Mary Smith* stating she had joined the local news
operation of WKRG-TV for a position in news reporting earlier this
August (note: the news presenter for the local news program mentioned in
the first paragraph had attributed one of its reports to her while
introducing video of it (she was called "News 5's Mary Smith" in the introduction).*
