- A Facebook attributed to WPMI-TV appeared to have had an image macro (a picture with captions) attributed to its administration being posted in response to a message attributed to one of its visitors this Friday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this past Thursday on the seventeenth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a news presenter for their local news operation named Bob Grip presenting video of a news report attributed to a news reporter for the Cable News Network (CNN) named Omar Jimenez with audio of the reporter saying, "Reporting for FOX 10 News. I'm Omar Jimenez. Back to you, Bob" near the end of it before the news presenter saying, "Thanks, Omar" afterwards.
- Some of the local TV programs broadcast by WALA-TV since the Thursday of the seventeenth day of this August (including news programs (with "FOX 10 News" in their names) and a program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (named "Studio 10")) had some members of their local news operation talking about a plan for their main broadcast channel to have a special program of theirs that was part of its programming on the Wednesday of the nineteenth day of July of this calendar year ("Storm Ready 2017") be part of its programming again on the Sunday of the twentieth day of this August (during the first half of its hour of 3:00 p.m.).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first and second halves of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30") had one of their news presenters talking about a special programming plan for their main broadcast channel for the Monday of the twenty-first day of this August (the plan was for the channel for have a local news program during the first half of the hour of 11:00 a.m. before having an episode of a serial from their main provider of network programming that was usually part of its programming plan for the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. for Monday through Friday in recent times ("The Bold and the Beautiful" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) during the second half of the hour of 11:00 a.m.* before having special news programming from the provider (about a solar eclipse expected to occur that day) during the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. with special programming of their own (about the eclipse expected to occur that day) in between from about fifteen minutes after the beginning of the hour of 1:00 p.m. until about forty-five minutes after the beginning of it.
(*the channel was usually set to have an episode of a different serial from the same provider ("The Young and the Restless") during both halves of the hour of 11:00 a.m. for Monday through Friday in recent times)
