News for Wednesday, October 17th, 2018

  • The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the fifteenth day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the voice of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, " And then the life of a cold-blooded killer spared; a guy who threw his four children off a bridge is seeing a new sentence. Those stories and more coming up at ten" over a certain video involving some digital graphics and text of "COMING UP" near the end of its time on the channel for that period of time that day. 
  • The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the fifteenth day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the voice of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) being used to say, "A cold-blooded killer's life is spared; Lam Luong, the guy who viciously threw his four children from the Dauphin Island Bridge getting life behind bars without parole" and the voice of its other news presenter (Byron Day) being used to say,, "This horrifying crime happening back in two thousand eight --  Luong was convicted and sentenced to die in two thousand nine, but earlier this year,  his defense team argued that Luong is ineligible for execution because of intellectual disabilities, and the state of Alabama agreed" immediately afterwards.
  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV usually appeared to have had some some local news programs (named "FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") beginning with a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "Stay tuned, you're watching your most local news at [six a-m/seven-a-m]" immediately before appearing to have had a certain sequence of animation involving a certain other disembodied voice being used to say, "First with breaking news, and breaking weather here on the gulf coast, this is FOX 10 News at [six a.m./seven a.m. Committed to you]" during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday prior to this month of October in recent times ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." for the hour mentioned first; "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m." for the hour mentioned second) before appearing to have had such programs (involving the same names) beginning with a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "Don't go anywhere; 'FOX 10 News' at six a-m. starts now" and, " 'FOX 10 News' at seven a-m starts right now" in the same periods of time on the Saturday of the sixth day of this October respectively (update #1: the program that appeared to had been part on the channel during the hour of 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the seventh day of this October (under the name "FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.") did not appear to have had such a sequence of animation immediately after appearing to had a certain voice being used to say, "Stay with us; FOX 10 News at six a-m starts now" (update #2: the local news programs that appeared to had been part of the channel during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the thirteenth day of this October (under the names "FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m." respectively) appeared to have audio of a certain disembodied voice being used to say, " 'FOX 10 News' at six a-m starts now" and " 'FOX 10 News' at seven begins now" before appearing to have had the same sequences of animation mentioned earlier in this paragraph (including the announcements for the ones mentioned also earlier in this paragraph) immediately afterwards respectively (update #3: the programs that appeared to had been part of the channel under the same names in the same periods of time on the  Sunday of the fourteenth day of this October 2018 each appeared to have had a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "This morning on 'FOX 10 News', the death toll from Hurricane Michael continues to rise as those returning home pick up the pieces; plus see how a local restaurant is lending a hand to the workers helping to rebuild" immediately before appearing to have had the same sequences of animation mentioned earlier in this paragraph (including the announcements for the ones also mentioned earlier in this paragraph))).
