News for Thursday, January 31st, 2019

  • A certain news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its contributors (a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to news named Byron Day) saying, "In tonight's FOX 10 News Fugitive Files, a man claiming to be Tremichael Powell, tonight's featured fugitive, called me, after I profiled him during 'FOX 10 News' at five. Mobile police accused Powell of threatening to shoot up the used car business where he used to work after they say he was fired. Well Powell, seen here, is also accused of stealing a loaner car from that business. Well I spoke with a guy claiming to be Powell and he told me it's all a misunderstanding, that he never threaten anyone, and that he will turn him self in to police in the morning. I hope he does, because Mobile police takes threats of gun violence against anyone very seriously" and, "Well the man I spoke with claiming to be Tremichael Powell admits he does have an extensive criminal record, and says he has done some time in prison, and wants to set the record straight so he can get on with his life. Well in case he changes his min, here are Tremichael's -- Powell's description" (note: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have had some texts such as "Man Claiming to Be FOX10 News Fugitive Files Suspect Tells Byron Day He'll Surrender to MPD Thursday" this Thursday (update for Friday, February 1st, 2019: a certain other part of the site mentioned in the previous note appeared to have had a video similar to that of the part of the news program described earlier in this paragraph this Friday)).
  • A certain news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-ninth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.")" appeared to have had a certain video involving digital graphics and texts of "WIND CHILL WARNING" and "45 TO 65 BELOW ZERO" while appearing to have had audio of a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "Oh man, if you think it's getting cold here tonight, check out what people are having to deal with in the northern part of the country. Look at the real-time temps here: Chicago, six below. That's cold. Minneapolis, what the what [disembodied laughter involving different voice]. Negative twenty-three. And how about Fargo, North Dakota, well, that's a--a nice, warm, oh my gosh. Where, ok-- [other voice: Thirty-three. About thirty-three, thirty-two degrees...below zero] -- well, you know, it's--it's a, ha -- it's cold [disembodied laughter involving different voice], right, and you can tell by that...blue blue blue...on the map, there, and looking at the wind chills, that just makes it even colder. So, it's not a lot of fun when you have to deal with that. We're talking fifty-five to sixty-five below wind chill temps and [other voice being used to sigh] that my friends can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as five minutes. Now, earlier tonight, we, caught up with a couple from Pace. They're living in Minneapolis right now and we asked them: what it feels like there", a separate video involving digital graphics with texts of "WIND CHILL WARNING" and "45 TO 65 BELOW ZERO" appears" with the same voice being used to say, "You can hear all that wind blowing. You got that blowing snow like that. Oh, it just smacks your face. It's--it's so cold. Uh, this video, from North Dakota, wind chill warnings posted in several states. Listen to this. Again, that's sixty-five below zero there, so you have to be very careful when you're out in those conditions. Uh, I want to see if we have the--the couple that we talked to from Pace" immediately afterwards before appearing to have had a certain video with texts of "TANA & BRENNAN WELTER" and "COUPLE FROM PACE NOW LIVING IN MINNESOTA" immediately afterwards.
