- This past Saturday's edition of WALA-TV's local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") on May 2nd had a report in which the phrase "synthetic poison" was used to describe a drug that was usually described as "synthetic marijuana" in some of their previous reports about it.
- Between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. today, the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV* had a paid commercial program (or "infomercial") instead of a local public affairs program that was usually part of its programming during that time period on Sunday (the name of the program was "Rise and Shine").
- WFGX-TV was set to have two different TV programs with the same person in a leading role broadcast every Sunday between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. through their main broadcast channel** (the names of the programs were "Mike & Molly" and "Monopoly Millionaires' Club"; the name of the person with a leading role in both programs was William (Billy) Gardell).
