• Today's edition of WKRG-TV's local midday news program ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had a report about their broadcast facility in Mobile holding a banquet this morning for a group of people described as "Junior Achievement volunteers".

• A news reporter for WKRG-TV demonstrated a recipe for pancakes on their local midday news program this past Monday, May 18th, as part of a regular feature of the program that usually only had recipes being demonstrated by guests of the program (the name of the reporter was Chad Petri; the name of the feature was "Take 5").

• Today's edition of WKRG-TV's local 10:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had a live report from New York, New York, about one of their regular network TV programs for Monday through Friday ("The Late Show with David Letterman") ending this Wednesday, May 20th (the report took place outside the building where the network program was usually produced: the Ed Sullivan Theater)
