- I had noticed some local TV news presenters and news reporters expressing what may or may not have been their own personal feelings about this past Monday, May 25th, being a national holiday in the United States for honoring past members of its military who died in wars involving the states (Memorial Day). I wish they had kept those feelings to their selves and stayed focused on providing just news and information; I'm sure many of their viewers and/or listeners at the time were more about getting news and information and did not care how they and/or their bosses felt about the holiday. They really should not be expressing personal feelings about anything at all when they should only be giving news and information.
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
