News for Friday, March 16th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twelfth day of
this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio its
news presenter (Bob Grip)
referring to a certain living being only by the word "Millhouse" for
one of its reports (note: the program had a video of a person with
graphics involving text of "STEVEN MILLHOUSE" immediately before then).
- A
local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of
9:00 a.m. on the Wednesday of the fourteenth day of this March ("Studio 10") appeared to have had
some guests of it presenting a certain flag related to the state of
Alabama and one of them appearing to had said, "We want to present, uh,
the station -- uh, Channel 10 -- with a bicentennial flag" and "-- in
hope that you would fly it over Mobile in honor of the bicentennial of
Alabama" afterwards.
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have had only the second half of a national news program from their main provider of network programming ("The CBS Evening News" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) during the last fifteen minutes of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fifteenth day of this March after having one of their news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 5") between the first and second halves of it and a certain syndicated TV program (named "Family Feud") during the first fifteen minutes of it (note: the channel appeared to have had had special programming from their main provider of network programming during the first fifteen minutes of the hour of 4:00 p.m. before having syndicated programming (including the aforementioned "Family Feud") for the rest of that hour).
- The local news program mentioned in the paragraph mentioned above this one appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht) saying, "Talk about a trip you'll always remember -- look at this crazy video of a camper dangling off an interstate in Saint Petersburg, Florida today after an accident" and audio of its other news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "Thankfully no one was hurt" for one of its reports (note: it appeared to have had video of the one named Peter Albrecht saying, "And get the camper went--the SUV was going with it--" and the one named Devon Walsh saying, "I know! Glad they were able to pull it back this way" immediately afterwards with the one named Peter Albrecht saying, "It's a good thing" in between the sayings of the words "know" and "glad".
- Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel since the Wednesday of the fourteenth day of this March appeared to have members of their news operation mentioning a certain Jermaine Ferrell while appearing to introduce some videos of some reports of plans to hold a certain tournament related to the sport of basketball narrated by a person appearing to identify his self as Jermaine Ferrell without any mention of whether this Jermaine Ferrell was a member their operation or that of another entity (note: at least one of the videos appeared to have had this person holding a microphone with a logo resembling that of a TV station related to WKRG-TV by ownership located outside of their local broadcast area (WFXR-TV in the city of Roanoke in the state of Virginia)).*
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fifteenth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) referencing certain subjects as "heroes" while presenting a report regarding one of those subjects ("A
lot of heroes on the scene Tuesday morning including a Baldwin County
deputy"); had audio of her saying "Oh, my, word!" and its other news presenter (Bob Grip) saying, "Check this out! Can you imagine walking outside and looking up to see this" while presenting parts of a report of a certain "aurora" (or "northern lights") being seen in the sky over certain areas ("Arctic Circle" and "Finland"); had audio of her saying, "So neat, wow!" immediately after the aforementioned presentation before having audio of her saying certain words with emphasis while presenting a report of a "camper" (or "trailer") being removed from a certain "overpass"; and had audio of her saying, "So scary!" immediately after her presentation of the last report mentioned.
