- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Wednesday of the twenty-first day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 10")
appeared to have had some graphics involving text of "Thief with a
Conscience" while having audio of one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "Coming up on News 5: a man steals a car, but is
desperate to return what's inside of it and it's all caught on camera
-- next on News 5 at ten o'clock".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
sometime between the first and second halves of the hours of 11:00 p.m.
on the Friday of the twenty-third day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at
10")* appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named
Randy Patrick Setterstrom)
saying, "Honk, honk -- the big rigs have arrived and they'll be on the
track tomorrow night at Mobile International Speedway. Breaker, breaker,
one-nine -- Robby Baker has more on the Bandit Big Rig Series" before having a video of a
report related to what he appeared to had been saying.
- The local news
program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the
Saturday of the twenty-fourth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00
p.m.") appeared to have its news presenter (Shelby Myers) appearing to
describe a certain subject as a "fallen hero" in a possessive form
for one of its reports ("Still ahead here on FOX 10 News: it's been more than a
month since officer Justin Billa was killed in the line of duty, now the
brother of our fallen hero hopes to follow in Justin's footsteps") immediately before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of
time that day
- Certain TV sets with digital tuners and digital menus and/or connections
to devices with digital tuners and digital menus appeared to have had
generic information related to the programming feed for the digital
sub-channel of WFNA-TV that usually appeared to have had programs from a
national TV programming service named Grit TV in recent times (such as
text of "GRIT TV Programming") in addition to having specific information regarding the
programming feed for the digital sub-channel of WJTC-TV that usually
appeared to have had programs from the same service in recent times on
the Sunday of the twenty-fifth day of this March (such as text of "Colt .45" in reference to one of the programs it had that day).
- The last part of the local news program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00
p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-third day of this March ("WKRG News 5
at Noon") appeared to have had its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying,
"Thanks for joining us. Remember, we'll be on Facebook Live in three minutes with Doctor Brian Heller. We're going to be talking about skin
cancer. Also want to make you aware CBS News is preparing a special
report right after this broadcast on President Trump signing the
spending bill. Have a great afternoon, I'll see you back here at five."
(note: the news division of the main provider of network programming for
WKRG-TV (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) was usually named "CBS News" by then).
(*the channel was not usually set to have a local news program during hour of 11:00 p.m. before then in recent times (it appeared to have had special programming from the system mentioned in the paragraph above this one at a time in
which it was usually set to have such a program on a daily basis in recent times before then (the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m.) (note: the part of the program mentioned in the second paragraph from the top of this report appeared to have had one of its news presenters (
Mel Showers) saying, "You've finished your sportscast
before midnight" and the reporter mentioned in that paragraph saying, "See you Saturday" to him afterwards)).
