- A Facebook page attributed to WEAR-TV appeared to have had a message attributed to its administration dated
for the Sunday of the eleventh day of this March concerning a "special
appearance" by a certain "meteorologist" (named "Christian
Garman") with a video of a certain weather report (note: a certain weather reporter (or "meteorologist") named "Christian Garman" was usually listed as being part of the news operation for WEAR-TV on a World Wide Web site related to them in years past).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the tenth
day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to had one of
its reporters (a weather reporter named Matt Barrentine)
saying, "Frost and freezes are possible this upcoming week -- did you
plant something today? You'd want to listen to this coming up in a few
minutes" and its news presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "I'll have to make sure to tell my room mate -- thanks, Matt" immediately afterwards.
- A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of
9:00 a.m. on the Monday of the twelfth day of this March ("Studio 10")
appeared to have had some music often used in some special programming
it had related to tropical cyclones in recent times for a part of it
related to technology instead of the music often used for other parts of
it related to technology in other installments of it that were part of
the programming of the channel before this Monday in recent times.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twelfth day of
this March ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its
news presenters (Bob Grip) saying, "And just as a reminder for our
visitors to the local beaches, double red means the water are closed,
single red means high surge and strong rip currents" and its other news
presenter (Shelby Myers*) saying, "Green means calm conditions and purple
means dangerous marine life such as jellyfish and Portuguese man o' war"
immediately after having audio of the second one mentioned
saying, "The yellow flags have been whipping in the wind today -- just
look at
them from our camera out at the Hangout in Gulf Shores. The yellow flag
means there's moderate surf or currents" (note: the program also appeared to
have had audio of the second news presenter mentioned saying, "And along with getting in
the water, many are probably heading out on boats; FOX 10 News is
committed to make sure you do so safely", the first one mentioned saying,
"First, it's important that no one who's been drinking operates a boat,
and make sure everyone on the boat has a life jacket on", and the second one
mentioned saying, "and don't forget before you take the boat out you
should make sure you have all your safety gear on board. The U. S. Coast
Guard offers free boat checks and will come to you for an inspection" immediately after each other in that order).
(*the channel usually had a news presenter named
Lenise Ligon for other installments of the program with the one named Bob Grip that were part of its programming before that Monday in recent times whereas the one named Shelby Myers was usually only a news reporter for some of those installments before then)
