News for Monday, October 1st, 2018

  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have had local news programs between certain parts of a certain program related to a certain sport (named football) from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) on the Sunday of the thirtieth day of the month of September for this calendar year (specifically sometime between the beginning of the hour of 4:00 p.m. and the end of the hour of 5:00 p.m. that day).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the thirtieth day of the month of September for this calendar year ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had its news presenter (Jason Carter) saying, "Well is the end near? Are we close to rapture, the second coming of Christ? Well join on a journey inside the Rapture Preparation Center in Mobile. The church has nearly three decades of reaching people in the port city. Their message is biblical and specific" before appearing to have had a certain video involving some digital graphics with texts of "LOCAL CHURCH PREPARES FOR RAPTURE" and "COVERING MOBILE" and a certain disembodied voice similar to that of the news presenter saying, "Now we'll have more on the rapture preparation center and the signs tomorrow night at ten o'clock".
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-ninth day of the month of September for this calendar year ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy) saying, "So we did this earlier this evening -- now let's try games, called let's try to find fall. So, if this is the humidity map -- this is based on dew point temperatures, which is the measure of humidity in the atmosphere; the higher the dew points, the higher the humidity contents. Slightly less humid air has been found toward our north today. So, if you were in Tuscaloosa, it's not all that bad here; summer-like humidity will continue and there's fall, way off to our northwest. As you can tell, that's not coming toward--towards us anytime soon throughout the first half of this week; still very warm and muggy, but as we move towards Wednesday and Thursday, that's when we'll start to see a possibility of some little lower humidity. It'll still be very humid for this time of year, but we might get a little relief as we get towards Thursday and Friday" (note: the program appeared to have had a map with texts of "Slightly Less Humid", "Summer-Like Humidity", and "There's Fall!!!" behind the reporter).
