News for Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 (amended)

(note: ones of the notes in the paragraph near the bottom of this report was amended for clarity)
  • The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-second day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Matt Barrentine) saying, "Don't worry; not that kind of low pressure" without explaining ever it immediately after appearing to have had said, "There will be some more rain around tomorrow morning; this is another system -- not--nothing to do with that Willa thing out there in Mexico; this is an area of low pressure system out in the Gulf".
  • The local news program that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-third day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "And also new tonight, the city of Mobile getting the green light to install new upgraded parking meters so you'll be able to use a credit card or an app when you park or if you want to put in the coins in the slot area there --  you can do that too. In addition to the new meters, the city says new signs will show where parking spaces are -- to do a better job doing that along with the time limits and costs. The rate...is set to stay the same...for now. Mayor Simpson [or Stimpson*] says the changes will help move the city's outdated parking system into the twenty-first century. You can use an app! Love that" and the other one (Byron Day) saying, "Like I said, it beats digging for quarters in the floor mats, you know" immediately afterwards (note #1: the program appeared to have had a certain video involving digital graphics with texts of "TRANSFORM DOWNTOWN PARKING" and "MOBILE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES NEW METERS/SIGNS" while appearing to have had the news presenter named Lenise Ligon saying the words attributed to her after the one spelled "too" that was also attributed to her earlier in this paragraph (*note #2: a certain World Wide Web site related to the city of Mobile in the state of Alabama usually appeared to have had the word "Stimpson" in certain references to its mayor before this Wednesday in recent times)).
