News for Saturday, October 6th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Saturday ("NBC 15 News at 5 pm") appeared to
have had its news presenter (Lance Crawford) saying, "This is just
beginning to get ridiculous. Alabama was the thirty-five point favorite
over Arkansas today in Fayette ; that's an insane number for a
road team in the SEC, but that's how dominant Bama has been this year
and in park how poorly the Razorbacks have played" for a certain part of
it related to sports.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the fifth day of
this October ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of
its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well, we have a special
birthday wish to Miss Louise Stewart of Prichard. I'm told she's
eighty-three years old. Her daughter sent in this picture and asked that
we wish her mom a happy birthday. So happy birthday Miss Louise" (along with a certain image of a certain being
with text of "HAPPY 83RD BIRTHDAY!")
and audio of a certain other speaker saying, "What a handsome woman"
immediately afterwards (note: the voice of the speaker might or might not had
been that of the other news presenter for the program (Byron Day)).
- A certain Facebook page related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had received
a certain message from its administration concerning a certain
promoter for WFNA-TV (named Tori Blackmon) with copies of a message and a group of images from a
certain other Facebook page unrelated to either WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV on the Thursday of the fourth day of this October
(update for Sunday, October 7th, 2018: the page related to WKRG-TV
appeared to have had received another message related to the promoter
with a copy of a certain video and a copy of a certain other message from a certain Facebook page
related to WFNA-TV on the Saturday of the sixth day of this October) (note: WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV were usually related to each other in recent
times due to their having been members of a certain holding company
named the Nexstar Media Group during those times).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourth day
of this October ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have some
videos of one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Adam Olivier)
doing reports related to weather and a certain parade near the parade
itself for certain parts of it related to weather (with digital graphics
involving texts of "LIVE" and "DHS
HOMECOMING PARADE" and "DAPHNE V BALDWIN COUNTY TOMORROW NIGHT") and
certain other videos of the parade itself for other parts of it related
to weather
involving a map and a reporter (named Jason Smith)
in a separate location (note: at least one of those videos appeared to
have had some digital graphics involving texts of "DAPHNE", "COMMITTED TO YOU", and "BALDWIN COUNTY" below
some text of "LIVE").
- A certain TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared to had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Friday of the fifth day of this October ("Studio 10") appeared to have had one of its hosts (Joe Emer) saying, "We also want to tell you folks about our show today -- this show is on from nine to ten -- there is supposed to be some updates with the Judge Kavanaugh confirmation hearings going on around nine thirty-ish. So at some point today we may take that information for you to see that and then return to 'Studio 10' -- uh, as we figure out what's going on with that situation" and its other host (Michael White), "We're still awaiting that breaking news from FOX News on the Brett Kavanaugh hearing -- if that starts, we'll go straight to it" for a certain other part of it (note: the program appeared to have had audio of what might or might not had been sighing and of a microphone being hit by this point) before appearing to have had a video involving graphics resembling texts such as "FOX NEWS LIVE", "FOX NEWS ALERT", and "KEY KAVANAUGH HEARING UNDERWAY" between the thirty-sixth and the fifty-second minutes of the hour of 9:00 a.m. and a video of the hosts for the program on its set immediately afterwards immediately before its last break from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day.
