• WKRG-TV began having promotional videos for a candidate for the presidency of the United States named Ted Cruz in their programming on a regular basis by this past Friday (the 26th day of this February.*

• WALA-TV had part of an interview they had with the governor of Alabama (Robert Bentley) during his visit to Mobile on this day on their local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") while another part of it was being saved for a future edition of it expected for this Sunday (the 28th day of this February). 

• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had an audible and visual message about an application filed with the Federal Communications Commission (the FCC) to transfer control of WKRG-TV from the shareholders of their current holding company (Media General) to a new holding company being formed from the current holding company's merger with another one (Nexstar Broadcasting Group).**
